Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •a) Obese (BMI \=25Kg/m2\) and nonobese (BMI \<25Kg/m2\) adults (18\-60 years)
- •b) Subjects giving consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
- •a)Presence of neurological disorders (including peripheral neuropathy), oculo\-vestibular disorders, major musculo\-skeletal condition (complicated back, hip and knee pain, flat foot), hip and knee replacements, arrhythmia, and the assumption of medications known to affect balance (e.g., psychotropic and arrhythmic drugs).
- •b)Acute or chronic infections and advanced end\-organ damage
- •c)Pregnancy and lactation at the time of study.
- •d)Severe end organ damage or chronic diseases: renal/ hepatic failure, any malignancy, nephrotic syndrome, malabsorption etc.
- •e)Known seropositivity for HBV, HCV and HIV
