•ASA grade I or II fit patients.
•Patients between 6 months to 6 years of age scheduled to undergo primary or secondary cleft repair.
•Weight 5 â?? 20 kilograms.
1.Patients with any other congenital abnormalities with difficult airways.
2.Patients with any cognitive impairment.
3.Patients with history of allergy, hypersensitivity or contraindication to any drug used for anaesthesia including opioids like morphine, fentanyl, hydrocodone and inhalation agents i.e. children with susceptibility to malignant hyperthermia.
5.Bleeding disorders like e.g. hemophilia or any active clinically significant bleeding.
6.Patients with impaired renal or hepatic function
