Inclusion Criteria
singleton pregnancy
The length of the cervix is 30-15 mm
gravid 1
The minimum age of the mother is 18 to 35 years.
Gestational age between 18 and 24 weeks
Exclusion Criteria
Suspicion of clinical chorioamnionitis or positive amniotic fluid culture
major fetal abnormalities,
Active vaginal bleeding
Membrane rupture
placenta previa
History of conization or lip
Multiple pregnancy
cervix above 1 cm
The presence of labor pains
Maternal systemic diseases
