- •Adults without diabetes mellitus above 18 years of age belonging to both sexes undergoing elective surgeries under spinal anesthesia
- •Patients belonging to American society of Anesthesiologists status 1 or 2
- •BMI 18.5 -30
- •Adults with diabetes mellitus above 18 years of age belonging to both sexes undergoing elective surgeries under spinal anesthesia BMI18.5 -30 Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists status 2 or 3
排除标准
- •Patient refusal for spinal anesthesia.
- •Patient taking drugs affecting sympathetic and parasympathetic function
- •Patients with other comorbidities
- •Patient in whom more than 500ml of blood loss is anticipated
- •Patients with coagulopathy
- •Pregnant patients
- •Patient refusal for spinal anesthesia.
- •Patient taking drugs affecting sympathetic and parasympathetic function
- •Patients with other comorbidities other than diabetes
- •Patient in whom more than 500ml of blood loss is anticipated
