for teeth
1. Single rooted extracted teeth, anterior to the premolar, affected with periodontitis with minimum of 5mm attachment loss with hopeless prognosis indicated for extraction.
For blood
1. Healthy male donor aged 18-25 years rendering informed consent to participate in the study with a hemogram with all parameters within normal range.
For teeth:-
1. Teeth with root caries.
2. Teeth with non-carious cervical lesions
3. Teeth with endodontic treatment.
4. Teeth with root restorations.
5. Teeth that are acid etched or having bonded restorations.
6. Teeth with developmental anomalies.
7. Teeth having been subjected to vital/non vital bleaching.
8. Teeth with internal / external resorption.
9. Subjects having undergone nonsurgical / surgical periodontal therapy.
For Blood:-
1. Diabetes
2. Hypertension
3. History of drug abuse
4. Tobacco chewing/ Smokers
5. Use of antiplatelet and anticoagulant drugs
6. History of bleeding and coagulation disorders
7. History of quantitative and qualitative platelet function disorders
8. History of Liver disease
9. Alcohol consumption
10. Use of anti-inflammatory drugs- NSAIDS
11. Recent history of febrile illness
12. Ongoing Pregnancy and Nursing mothers

Name Time Method The count, morphology and mitotic activity of fibroblast assessed through SEM analysis and MTT assay respectively is seen more on periodontally involved root surfaces treated with scaling and root planing and plasma rich in growth factors as compared to periodontally involved root surfaces treated with scaling and root planing alone.Timepoint: At baseline, <br/ ><br>At day 1 from baseline, <br/ ><br>At day 3 from baseline, <br/ ><br> and at day 7 from baseline.
