Inclusion Criteria
1. Adult patients 18 - 65 years
2. Disease conditions: TBI, SAH
3. TBI:
[a] patients admitted to ICU and requiring pharmacological support to manage blood pressure.
[b] both operated and non-operated
4. SAH:
[a] anterior circulation aneurysms-ruptured
[b] operated patients
[c] requiring pharmacological therapy for BP augmentation.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Penetrating head injury
2. No expected change in Systolic blood pressure inspite of maximum dose of Norepinephrine (not to exceed 0.5mcg/kg/min in our study)
3. Poor intracranial acoustic window
