Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •a)Pregnant females undergoing primary cesarean with following characteristics:
- •1.Singleton pregnancy
- •2.No prior history of lower abdominal surgery
- •3. BMI -18.5-24.9 Kg/m2
Exclusion Criteria
- •1.Preoperative Hemoglobin < 7gm%
- •2.Thrombocytopenia
- •3.Deranged coagulation profile
- •4.Steroid / antibiotic therapy
- •5.Any pre-existing infections
- •6.Prolonged rupture of membrane ( > 18 hours)
- •7.Multiple gestation pregnancy
- •8.Subcutaneous fat thickness > 3cm
- •9.Obstructed labor
- •10.Medical co morbidities eg. Diabetes, hypertension, heart diseases etc
