入选标准
- •All patients of age > 18 years admitted to the general surgery ward at PIMS and posted for all open elective abdominal surgeries
- •Laparoscopic surgeries with more than 7 cm long incision
排除标准
- •Abdominal wound which is contaminated preoperatively
- •Surgical wounds that have to be left open
- •Patients who require higher antibiotics preoperatively other than second and third generation cephalosporins
