non-diabetes diagnosed by history taking of symptoms and fasting plasma glucose (FPG) ≤100 mg/dl (Standards of Medical Care in Diabetes, 2017). Their BMI values were less than 30 mg/m2 and their ages were in the range between 18-60 years old. Each volunteer had no underlying diseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular disease, kidney disease, liver disease, thyroid disease and cancer. Blood biochemical parameters such as triglyceride, AST, ALT, BUN, creatinine, were normal. Total cholesterol to HDL-C ratio was less than 5 for male and 4.5 for female (Saito et al., 2017). They had no signs and symptoms of gastrointestinal malfunction including lactose intolerance and celiac disease as well as the diseases which were associated with blood collection difficulty such as anemia, hemophilia, idiopathic thrombocytopenia or the use of anti-coagulant drugs.
Exclusion criteria were pregnancy or unable to refrain from smoking and drinking during five weeks though out the experiment.
