• Patient diagnosed as clinical depression by a psychiatrist as per DSM-5.
• Depression symptoms ranging from 14-28 as per BDI-II score screening.
• Patient willing and able to participate in yoga.
• Already Yoga Practitioners.
• Patients with BDI-II score of 29-63(severe depression), 0-13(minimal depression).
• Patients taking active psychological therapies for last 3 months.
• Patients with suicidal thoughts/attempts in the last 2 weeks
• Patients diagnosed with psychosis.
• Pregnant females, lactating mothers
• Any diagnosed major psychiatric disease, neurological illness or
physical deformity or illnesses which may aggravate the disease
condition after practicing yoga (like heart failure- NYHA III and IV, COPD stage III and IV, uncontrolled hypertension and seizure
disorder).
