Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Need for external nutrition without contraindication for placement of naso or oroenteral tube
- •Initiation of enteral feeding within 48 hr of admission
- •Duration of icu stay \> 48 hrs
Exclusion Criteria
- •Severe coagulopathy
- •Patient with medical indication for post pyloric nutrition
- •Gastrostomy or jejunostomy
- •Contraindication of enteral nutrition
