Inclusion Criteria
All patients > 18 years of age, who will undergo emergency abdominal surgery in the study period under Department of general surgery in Kasturba hospital ,Manipal.
Exclusion Criteria
Age < 18 years
When serum albumin and BMI not avilable
Patients who had chronic liver diseases , chronic renal disease and immunosuppressive state.
