This single-center observational study aims to assess the feasibility of systematically screening for intimate partner violence (IPV) against women in the emergency department of Hôpital Nord-Ouest de Villefranche-sur-Saône. The study utilizes the Woman Abuse Screening Tool (WAST), a self-administered questionnaire, to identify cases of IPV. The primary objective is to evaluate the feasibility and acceptability of implementing this systematic screening within an emergency setting. The study will measure feasibility through factors such as the implementation rate and adherence by healthcare staff, while acceptability will be assessed based on patient participation and response rates. By analyzing these criteria, the study seeks to determine whether IPV screening can be effectively integrated into routine emergency care. The findings are expected to provide insights into potential barriers and facilitators for screening implementation, contributing to improved detection and support strategies for women experiencing domestic violence.
