Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •elective surgery under general anesthesia (total intravenous or balanced general anesthesia)
- •\- ASA status I, II or III
- •\- Invasive continuous radial artery blood pressure measurement independent of the study
- •\- Patient consent
Exclusion Criteria
- •\- Circulatory disorder of the hands
- •\- Atrial fibrillation or other higher\-grade cardiac arrhythmia
- •\- Higher\-grade clinically relevant valvular heart disease
- •\- Severe peripheral arterial occlusive disease (Fontaine stage \> 3\)
- •\- Central spinal regional anesthesiological procedures
