•ASA physical status I and II patients in the age-group 18-50 undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
•History suggestive of allergy to either study drug.
•History suggestive of chronic use of antacids.
•Chronic alcoholics
•BMI >=30 kg/m2
•Known case of diabetes, chronic hypertension, cardiac disease.
•Known renal or hepatic insufficiency.
•Known case of neuromuscular disorders.
•Anticipated difficult airway
•Pregnant patients
•Patients at risk of aspiration i.e. full stomach, GERD, hiatus hernia etc.
