Inclusion Criteria
Consent by the consultant physician procedure (Giessen model) or consent of the legal representative
- Invasive ventilation
- Diagnosis ARDS according to Berlin definition
- Ventilation in TCAV protocol
Exclusion Criteria
- Failure to meet inclusion criteria
- Contraindications for ventilation in the TCAV protocol: Obstructive Ventilatory Disorder, Undrained Pneumothoraces.
- Refusal to participate in the study

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Evaulation of the influence of TCAV on hemodynamics using echocardiography and PiCCO monitoring. At 0, 2, 6, 24, and 26 hours after study inclusion, respectively.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Flow cytometry for T-/B- and NK-cells, RNA analysis, 30-day survival. At 0, 6, and 24 hours after study inclusion, respectively.
