Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
To determine the accuracy, sentitivity and specificity of real-time ultrasonography with capnography in confirming the position of endotracheal tube.Timepoint: T1-Started from the time of visualization of vocal cords till the passage of endotracheal tube as visualized on ultrasound, the point at which the timer is stopped.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Time taken to confirm the position of endotracheal tube by real time ultrasound with capnographyTimepoint: T 1- Started from the time of visualization of vocal cords till passage of tube as confirmed by ultrasound. The point where ultrasound confirms the tube position determines T1 <br/ ><br>T 2-Starts from the time of connecting the circuit till 6 wave forms occur on EtCO2 wave form. At the end of 6th Etco2 wave, T2 is noted.
