Inclusion Criteria
All patients with macular hole size greater than 500 microns will be included.
Both idiopathic variety and macular holes secondary to other etiologies will be included
Exclusion Criteria
a.Previously failed macular hole surgery.
b.Size of the hole less than 500 um.
c.Patients needing both IOL + MH surgery
d.Patients with a baseline OCT scan with signal strength less than 5.
e.Patients with other ocular co morbidities that can affect final visual outcome
f.Monocular patients
