Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •All patients with macular hole size greater than 500 microns will be included.
  • •Both idiopathic variety and macular holes secondary to other etiologies will be included

Exclusion Criteria

  • •a.Previously failed macular hole surgery.
  • •b.Size of the hole less than 500 um.
  • •c.Patients needing both IOL \+ MH surgery
  • •d.Patients with a baseline OCT scan with signal strength less than 5\.
  • •e.Patients with other ocular co morbidities that can affect final visual outcome
  • •f.Monocular patients
