Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients older than 18 years, from both sex, with subtalar arthritis, and a minimum follow\-up of one year after open surgical reduction and internal fixation for calcaneus fractures were included.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients who presented subtalar ankylosis or arthrodesis, history of infection or skin lesion, risk of hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or corticosteroids, pregnancy or breastfeeding, rheumatologic conditions, anticoagulant therapy, or intra\-articular subtalar procedures such as injections or arthroscopy during the six months prior to the interview were not invited to participate in the study.
