American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status grade I or II, undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring oro-tracheal intubation.
Mouth opening < 3cm.
Edentulus patients.
Patients with neck anatomical pathologies.
Patients who are unable to extend their neck > 30 degrees.
Patients with beard.
Patients with cervical spine pathologies.
Patients with history of neck surgery.
Patients having hyperkeratotic skin of neck.
Patients having any ulcerative lesion on neck.
Patients having history of frontal neck trauma.
Patients having local infection.
Patients unwilling for consent.

Name Time Method To correlate the Ultrasonographic measurements of epiglottis- vocal cord distance and depth of pre-epiglottic space with difficult laryngoscopy.Timepoint: Total time taken for measurements was noted as the time from when the probe touches the patients skin till the probe is lifted off the patient after taking the measurements.
