For experimental group:
1. Skeletal Class II division 1 malocclusion growing patients with normal maxilla and retrognathic mandible (ANB angle greater than 4 degrees, Class II molar and canine relation on both sides)
2. Normal or horizontal growth pattern,
3. Increased positive overjet (more than 6 mm)
4. No or minimum crowding in the dental arches.
For control group:
1. Subjects with same age group having skeletal class I malocclusion with class I molar relationship
2. Less than 6 mm overjet,
3. Treatment done without the use of bite jumping appliance or functional appliance or expansion device or intermaxillary elastics
For experimental group:
1)Medically compromised patients.
2)Patients with abnormal growth of maxilla.
3)Patients with history of trauma to Temporomandibular joint.
4)Patients with previous history of respiratory problems.
5)History of adeno-tonsillectomy procedure, known history of allergic rhinitis and Subjects with upper airway pathology will be excluded.
For control group:
Exclusion criteria for the control group will be same as that of an experimental group.
