Inclusion Criteria

Obtained informed consent; good general health status; available for the entire 90-day follow-up period; healthy periodontium; at least one tooth in the maxillary anterior region (region 13 to 23) or in the posterior region that can no longer be preserved and can only be treated by extraction

Exclusion Criteria

Pregnant and breastfeeding women;
Systemic diseases that could affect the outcome of therapy (e.g. uncontrolled diabetes mellitus; current or past radiochemotherapy); Systemic medication that may affect the outcome of therapy (medication that may cause gingival hyperplasia, e.g. anticonvulsants, immunosuppressants, calcium antagonists; antiresorptive therapy, e.g. bisphosphonates or antibodies); existing acute inflammation of the periodontium of the tooth to be extracted (e.g. untreated severe periodontitis; suppuration); Previous mucogingival surgery in the region to be examined (e.g. apicoectomy or aesthetic periodontal rehabilitation)

Completion of the follow-up of the 52nd patient 90 days postoperatively. <br>Continuation of the study and further analyses after one year are planned. There are no criteria for an earlier termination of the study.
