Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patients undergoing elective laparoscopic surgery of the gastro intestinal system

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Bariatric surgery
  • •2\.Urological laparoscopic surgery \- nephrectomy, adrenal and prostate surgery
  • •3\.Patients allergic to morphine
  • •4\. Patients with hepatic dysfunction(USG evidence of liver dysfunction, ALT/AST \> 2 times normal);
  • •5\.Patients with cardiac dysfunction(EF \<40%)
  • •6\.Patients with renal dysfunction(S. Creatinine \>1\.5mg/dl).
  • •7\.Preoperative coagulopathy contraindicating neuraxial blockade.
