Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Aged 18\-65 years
- •2\. ASA I\-II patients scheduled for endoscopic micro\-laryngeal laser surgery
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients with stridor,
- •2\. Patients on chronic antitussive medications for diseases other than the larynx
- •3\. Psychiatric patients on medication
- •4\. ASA III \& IV
- •5\. patients with coagulation disorder
- •6\. Patients on analgesics or beta\-blockers,
- •7\. Patients with hypersensitivity to the study drug
- •8\. Mallampati classification III and IV and
- •9\. Patients requiring more than one attempt for endotracheal intubation.
