- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Blood Pressure Reduction of the elderly hypertensive patients, assessment of resting blood pressure, measured from an automatic device, from a reduction of 5% in systolic blood pressure and 3% in diastolic blood pressure in the post-training values compared to the pre-training values.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Improvement of the pulmonary capacity of the hypertensive elderly, measured from the peak VO2, by means of an incremental treadmill test, from a 10% increase in the post-training values compared to the pre-training values.;Improvement of the muscular strength of the upper and lower limbs of the hypertensive elderly, measured from the maximum voluntary isometric contraction (of the knee and elbow joints), by means of a manual dynamometer, from an increase of at least 5% of post-training values compared to the pre-training values.
