Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Inclusion criteria were: aged 50 years or older; controlled hypertension (\<140/90 mmHg); and medical release for physical exercise.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Subjects were excluded if they had participated in an aerobic and/or resistance training program in the previous 6 months; presented congestive heart failure; recent myocardial infarction; or joint or muscular limitations that compromised the movements in any of the exercises; did not meet the minimum of 85% of the total number of sessions planned.
