1. Patients diagnosed with mental and behavioural disorder due to use of alcohol dependence syndrome, currently using the substance (F10.24) as per international classification of diseases 10th (ICD-10) clinical description and diagnostic guidelines (WHO, 1993)
2.Male
3 Age between 18 and 50 yrs
4. Ready to give informed consent.
5.Clinical institute withdrawal assessment for alcohol revised (CIWA-ar) protocol score less than 10.
6. Patients on tab naltrexone 50mg/day as an anticraving agent.
1. Not willing to give consent
2.Any other co-morbid substance abuse except nicotine and caffeine
3.Participants having any co-morbid psychiatric disorders.
4. Participants with hepatic derangements or impaired liver function test (LFT).
5. Participants having any contraindication for undergoing HD-tDCS and fMRS study.
