Diagnosis of de Quervain’s tenosynovitis
Unilateral affected side
Moderate to severe pain
Age > 18 years old
Informed consent
Previous treatment in these timeframes
-Anti-inflammatory medication in 4 weeks
-Physical modalities in 4 weeks
-Corticosteroid injection in 6 months a
History of other wrist/distal forearm disorders
Skin disease at wrist
History of surgery or trauma or deformities of the affected limb
Neurological disease (e.g. C-radiculopathy, peripheral nerve entrapment)
Systemic infection or rheumatologic disease
Contraindication of HILT (e.g., Pregnancy/Tumor, /Epilepsy etc.) b
