Inclusion Criteria
ASA grade 1 and ASA grade 2 single-foetus pregnancy, age between 20-35 YRS more than 37 weeks of gestational age scheduled for elective caesarean section
Exclusion Criteria
Emergency surgeries ASA grade 3,4,5 Known bleeding diathesis Neuromuscular disease Local skin infections/Contraindications to neuraxial anaesthesia Body mass index greater than 40 kg/m2 Allergy to any of the study medications Patients on psychiatric or chronic pain medication

Name Time Method Time to first analgesic request: time between administration of intrathecal morphine and the request of first rescue analgesia in the postoperative period.Timepoint: 4hours,8hours,12hours,24hours after surgery
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Maternal side effects: Incidences of nausea or vomiting, need for anti-emetics, incidence of pruritus and need for medication, will be recorded for 24 hrs after surgeryTimepoint: secondary outcomes will be recorded at 3,6,12 and 24 hour after surgery for 24 hours
