Inclusion Criteria

Subjects in the age group 20-50 years suffering from dentinal hypersensitivity due to causes other than caries and fractures.

Systemically healthy subjects will be included in the study.

Subjects who give consent to participate in the study.

Exclusion Criteria

Subjects who have chipped teeth, cracked tooth syndrome, palatogingival grooves.

Those who had pulpal response to caries or to restorative treatment.

Subjects with an inability to respond to the discomfort scale.

Subjects whose hypersensitive area are not accessible.

Those who are taking anti-inflammatory drugs or are using any desensitizing pastes or such other remedies.
