Inclusion Criteria
1. Children diagnosed with mild to moderate type of gingivitis.
2. Children and parents/guardians who are willing to give written consent.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Children with any other systemic/psychological conditions.
2. Children with any history of allergy reactions to herbal medicaments or chlorhexidine.
3. Children under other medications such as anti-inflammatory drugs, antibiotics, and steroids within the past 3 months.
4. Children using any type of antibacterial mouth rinse within four weeks of commencement of the study.
5. Children are unwilling to complete the treatment protocol.
