Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Spine instrumentation for trauma and /or any pathology below fifth thoracic vertebra in prone position under GA.
- •ASA I to III physiological status.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patient refusal.
- •Obesity( BMI \>30\).
- •known case of respiratory disease including bronchial asthma,COPD,TB,pneumonia.
- •Inability to keep arterial oxygen saturation above 94% without supplemental oxygen.
- •Paitent with blunt trauma chest and severe brain injury.
- •Patient with prior endotracheal and/or chest drain tube.
