Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Patients with moderate to severe pneumonia (CURB65 more than 2\) requiring oxygenation (PaO2/FiO2 less than 300\) (PaO2 less than 60\).
  • Patints more than 18 years of age.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients having contraindications of HFNC and NIV.
  • Patients requiring mechanical ventilation.
  • Patients not giving consent.
