Inclusion Criteria

(1) 6 months post first-ever stroke with unilateral motor deficits, (2) the ability to walk 10 meters independently with or without the use of walking aids, (3) a Brunnstrom stage of affected lower extremity equal or greater than 3, and (4) a score of at least 24 on the mini-mental state examination (MMSE).

Exclusion Criteria

(1) unstable medical conditions, (2) any history of other diseases known to interfere with participation in the study and (3) history of virtual games used for treatment in the past 3 months, (4) those who are allergic to patches or gels.
