Inclusion Criteria
1.PRIMI GRAVID WOMEN
2.SINGLE FETAL CEPHALIC PRESENTATION
3.PLANED VAGINAL DELIVERY
4.TERM PREGNANCY GREATER THAN 37 WEEKS OF
PREGNANCY
5.LATENT PHASE OF THE FIRST STAGE OF LABOR WITH
CERVICAL DILATION LESS THAN 5 CM
6. WILLING TO GIVE WRITTEN INFORMED CONSENT
Exclusion Criteria
1.PRIMI GRAVID WOMEN WITH OBSTETRICAL AND NON
OBSTETRICAL COMPLICATIONS
2.HAD PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF TENS OR
ACUPUNCTURE
3.MATERNAL CUTANEOUS LESION ON THE APPLICATION
SITES SUCH AS WOUND SCAR, URTICARIA, ULCERS
