Inclusion Criteria
- •patients 45 years or older who are scheduled for elective non-cardiac surgery
- •- patients who will be monitored with intermittent blood pressure monitoring as part of routine care
Exclusion Criteria
- •- emergency surgery
- •- pregnancy
- •- American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status classification V or VI
- •- blood pressure difference between left and right arm of more than 20 mmHg
- •- invasive blood pressure monitoring
- •- heart rhythms other than sinus rhythm
