The study will be confined to males and females of various class groups aged 20 to 50 years.
The selected subjects will be divided into two groups. Each group consists of 120 subjects.
1. Group A: Control group of Non Vipassana Meditators.
2. Group B: Study group of Vipassana Meditators.
The Study group participants will be recruited from Dhamma Chakka Vipassana Meditation Centre, Sarnath, Varanasi, and Dhamma Thali Vipassana Meditation Centre Jaipur, who will be beginners and enrolled in their first 10 days foundation course of Vipassana Meditation. These participants will be required to practice Vipassana Meditation for 10 days, at least 9 hours per day.
The participants of Control group will be selected from the general population matched to the study group.
The participants having any past or current history of physical and mental illness or neurological disorder will be excluded from the study.
