•Infected Wounds â?? Presence of at least two of the following items in a wound: local swelling or induration, erythema, local tenderness or pain, local warmth, purulent discharge.
•Traumatic Ulcers â?? Damage to skin, partial or full thickness, over any part of body due to trauma.
•Diabetic Ulcers - A full-thickness wound, through the dermis, below the ankle on a weight-bearing or exposed surface in an individual with diabetes.
•A pressure injury is localized damage to the skin and underlying soft tissue usually over a bony prominence or related to a medical or other device which can present as intact skin or an open ulcer and may be painful due to intense and/or prolonged pressure or pressure in combination with shear.
•Venous Ulcers - Full-thickness defect of the skin, most frequently in the ankle region, that fails to heal spontaneously and is sustained by chronic venous disease.
•Perianal Wounds â?? Any wound whose margins are within 5 cm of the anal verge.
•Patients with a known allergy to honey â?? As per history.
