- 30
1) within 6 months of stroke onset
2) no significantcognitive deficit (a score of > 24 points in the Mini-Mental Status Examination)
3) no limited range of motion of the wrist and hand
4) Fair grade < manual muscle test of wrist and hand
5) able to grip of various form (cylindrical, spherical, and power grip)
6)grip power < 30 kg
7) able to follow study instructions.
1) Secondary stroke
2) other neurologic diseases
3)osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis
4) unilateral neglect or visual filed deficit
5)serious pain or swelling, edema in the affected hand.
