入选标准
- ••age of 18 years or older,
- ••patients with bilateral mandibular premolar or incisor teeth definitely requiring nonsurgical removal with local anesthesia,
- ••patients with willingness to give informed consent and were cooperate with the study,
- ••patients with American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) physical status class I and II,
排除标准
- ••ASA > II,
- ••patients with any systemic diseases including uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes or malignancy or any medical conditions,
- ••bleeding disorders, using antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy;
- ••using or previous chemotherapy, radiotherapy and bisphosphonate therapy,
- ••any acute infection or local inflammation in the local exraction area;
- ••local pathology (e.g., cyst or tumor) associated with the tooth to be extracted,
- ••systemic viral, fungal or bacterial infections,
- ••allergy to the lidocaine or the other drugs used in the surgical protocol,
- ••using any anti-inflammatory, antidepressant or sedative medication in the last 12 hours as it may change the perception of pain,
- ••pregnancy or lactation or using oral contraceptives;
- ••consumption of alcohol or smoking were excluded from the study.
