入选标准
- •â€¢age of 18 years or older,
- •â€¢patients with bilateral mandibular premolar or incisor teeth definitely requiring nonsurgical removal with local anesthesia,
- •â€¢patients with willingness to give informed consent and were cooperate with the study,
- •â€¢patients with American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA) physical status class I and II,
排除标准
- •â€¢ASA > II,
- •â€¢patients with any systemic diseases including uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes or malignancy or any medical conditions,
- •â€¢bleeding disorders, using antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy;
- •â€¢using or previous chemotherapy, radiotherapy and bisphosphonate therapy,
- •â€¢any acute infection or local inflammation in the local exraction area;
- •â€¢local pathology (e.g., cyst or tumor) associated with the tooth to be extracted,
- •â€¢systemic viral, fungal or bacterial infections,
- •â€¢allergy to the lidocaine or the other drugs used in the surgical protocol,
- •â€¢using any anti-inflammatory, antidepressant or sedative medication in the last 12 hours as it may change the perception of pain,
- •â€¢pregnancy or lactation or using oral contraceptives;
- •â€¢consumption of alcohol or smoking were excluded from the study.
