Inclusion Criteria
•18 years or older;
•the patients, or their legal representative, have signed an informed consent;
•have a traumatic subacute or chronic SDH;
•the date of trauma must be known
Exclusion Criteria
•recurrent SDH;
•previous surgery for SDH in the past 365 days;
•inability to obtain informed consent from the patient (or when the patient has a depressed level of consciousness their legal representative), including language barrier.
