Inclusion Criteria

Patients CPB and OPCAB: Coronary artery disease with elective myocardial revascularization surgery. Healthy controls: no further criteria.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Pregnancy
2. Immunosuppressive therapy (within last 7 days)
3. CKD (eGFR < 60 ml/min)
4. known hematologic malignancy
5. HIV infection
6. acute or chronic inflammation
7. medical history of organ transplantion
