Patients having pelvis or acetabular fracture
Patients with renal failure,sepsis ,allergic to dye
Patients with history of malignant primary or metastatic tumors
Open fractures or fractures involving lower limb
Associated Head and Spine injury and abdominal trauma
Associated vascular injury requiring high dose anticoagulant
Fracture due to pathological bone lesion at local site.
Are on long-term anticoagulants.
Have been diagnosed with a VTE within the last 6 months.
Are on therapeutic, as opposed to prophylactic, anticoagulants at the time of admission.
Have an allergy to aspirin or non-steroidal antiinflammatory drugs, or a history of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, or other medical contraindication to anticoagulants
