1. Children between the ages of 5-18 years and who fulfilled the clinical criteria of dengue fever (fever and 2 of the symptoms: headache, retro-orbital pain, myalgia, arthralgia, bone pain and hemorrhagic manifestations) with diagnosed NS1AG positive or dengue IgG anspd IgM positive
2. Patients of dengue fever (as per WHO criteria) with thrombocytopenia ( platelet count < 1.5lakhs)
1. Patients of dengue fever with platelet counts > 1.5lakhs
2. Patients who already started on vitamin E and vitamin C supplementation prior to admission
3. Patients of dengue fever with severe thrombocytopenia requiring platelet transfusion.
4. Patients of dengue fever with severe GI bleeding manifestations
