Inclusion Criteria
�Patients who are undergoing peripheral intravenous
cannulation.
�Patients who are meeting Emergency Severity Index (ESI) triage criteria (level III, IV, V).
Exclusion Criteria
� Bilateral upper limb burns, skin disease, fracture.
� Pregnant women
� Afflicted with mental illness and cognitively impaired individuals, differently abled and physically disabled
� Terminally ill
� health care workers, institutionalized individuals , prisoners
