the most common neurovascular headache which constitutes 16% ofthe primary headache and affects 10-20% that is 14.5% of the generalpopulation. the ratio of women and men is 3:1 In Ayurveda has mentioned nasya therapy as the master key forall urdhavajatrugat vyadhi and need of effective treatment forArdhavbhedak.All shirorogas are due to tridosha prakopa and chiefly due tovata or vata-kapha .Thus, Ardhavabhedak can be best managed withAushadhis having ushna, snigdha, properties. Thus vachapippali yogain the form of nasya which is having vatakaphhar properties has beenselected as shodhan therapy in the present study. To evaluate Vachapippali Avapid nasya given in 6 Bindu/nostrils for 7 daysonce day in the morning is significantly effective in the managementof Ardhavbhedak .. Patient will be taken from the shalakyatantra OPD and IPDPatient will be selected simple Random sampling technique by Lotterymethod on the basis of Inclusion criteria of assessment. Informed written consent will be taken. Sample size 84 patient are taken. Group A(trial group) 42 patient Vachapippali Avapid nasya given given in 6 Bindu/ nostrils for 7 days OD in morning and Group B(control group) 42 patient Sitopalamadanphala Avapid nasya given givenin 6 Bindu/ nostrils for 7 days OD in morning .Treatment duration will be 7days for both group and follow upOn 14th, 21st day. Assessment will be done on the basis ofimprovement in symptoms of patients before and after thetreatment.

- patient diagnosed with Ardhavbhedak ( migraine) with following symptoms 2.
- Ardhashirashoola , Hrullas, Prakashasahatva, Shabdasahatva, Chhardi 3.
- Patient between the age group 18-50 year Irrespective Gender, Religion, Occupation, Socioeconomic status will be selected simple Random sampling technique by Lottery method for the study 4.
- Patient with chronicity more than three months 5.
- Nasyaharya.
- Migraine with aura 2.
- Patient with depression and psychological disorders 3.
- Referred pain due to any other disorders 4.
- Head injury or any brain lesions 5.
- Trigeminal neuralgia 6.
- Metabolic and systemic disorders causing headache 7.
- Pregnancy migraine 8.
- Menstrual migraine.
