- •patients with clinical and radiological pictures suggestive of lower respiratory tract infections (LRTI)
- •age more than 18 years
- •fit for fiberoptic bronchoscopy (FOB)

- •Patients with no radiological signs of LRTI
- •those unfit for FOB
