Group A-
1.Patients with the age group of 20-40 years.
2.Bleeding on Probing <10%.
3.No clinical attachment loss in at least 6 teeth.
4.Patient who is ready to maintain regular appointments.
Group B-(Stage I-II Periodontitis)
1.Patients with age group of 20-40 years.
2.Patients with stage I-II Periodontitis with interdental CAL 1-4mm in atleast 6 teeth.
3.Probing Pocket Depth <= 4-5mm.
4.Bleeding on Probing (BOP) >= 10%.
5.Patient who is ready to maintain regular appointments
1.Pregnant or lactating women
2.Patients with systemic diseases.
3.Patients who have used antibiotics in past 3 months
4.Patients who have received periodontal treatment in past 3 months.
5.Patient currently on nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesics.
6.Patients with a history of smoking
7.Patients with a history of salivary gland diseases.
8.Patients with wasting diseases where cemento-enamel junction is not visible.
