Inclusion Criteria
20-60 year-aged
vitamin D deficiency
Not intake of supplements containing vitamin D or fish oil during the last three months
Not having clinical signs of diseases that interfere with vitamin D metabolism (liver and kidney disease)
Not receiving drugs interfering with the metabolism of vitamin D (corticosteroids, estrogen)
Exclusion Criteria
any disease or need to use of medication which interferes with vitamin D metabolism
pregnancy or breastfeeding
any weight loss treatments

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D concentration. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and at the end of the study (3 months later). Method of measurement: ElISA.;Serum sugar and lipid profile. Timepoint: At the beginning of the study (before the intervention) and at the end of the study (3 months later). Method of measurement: Measurement of serum glucose and lipids will be done using an enzymatic method based on colorimetry using commercial kits (Pars Test, Iran) with automatic device (Selecta E, Vitalab, Netherland).
