. The incidences of nausea (55.6%), vomiting (14.1%) in the palonosetron group were not different significantly when compared with that of nausea (58.3%), vomiting (19.8%) in the ondansetron group during 24 hours after surgery (P > 0.05). There were no significant differences between the two groups in the severity of nausea, the use of rescue antiemetics, adverse effects, and satisfaction with IV-PCA (P > 0.05).

1) Heathy women patients who scheduled elective operation umder general anesthesia
2) 20-70years old patients who scheduled to receiv an intravenous patient-controlled analgesia using fentanyl
Paients who have significant respiratory, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and cerebral, renal and hepatic disease.
Patient who experienced emesis or received antiemetics or steroids within 24 hours.
Patients who have history od drug or opioids addiction,
Patients who can not communicated,
Pregnant woman, morbid obesity
